Gold Coast Galleries and Museums
Gold Coast’s galleries and museums bring together contemporary art, Aboriginal culture, local history and specialist collections across the coastal suburbs and hinterland. You can move from Australian modern art and photography to railway memorabilia, military objects, historic buildings, classic vehicles and stories connected with the Yugambeh language region.
The range is equally rewarding for a focused visit or a slower cultural outing. Major collections sit alongside artist-run spaces and community museums, offering different ways to encounter the region: through carefully interpreted objects, changing exhibitions, creative practice, cultural experiences and landscapes with their own history.
